Dr. Aju Varghese

Dr. Aju Abraham Varghese has more than 18 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry with strong experiences in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research and Medical Strategy. In Medical Affairs, he started his Medical Liaison career in Merck Sharpe & Dhome in 2008 as a Field based Health associate and moved on to setup and head the MSL team for Pfizer India from 2011-15.
He moved to UAE in 2015 and ventured into the digital education health space and works closely with SEHA, DHA and Medical Societies across the region to develop quality content for engaging Health care providers. He is currently working as the General Manager Medical Affairs at Medvarsity UAE, a Medical Edutech company.
He has a proven track record in people leadership (including recruiting and leading teams) through excellent interpersonal and communication skills including training, coaching and development, as well as mentoring other team members for maximum productivity and efficiency while maintaining quality. Dr. Aju, exhibits strong cross-cultural, matrix organization leadership skill to drive effective team environment to maximize resources and productivity across departments/regions etc.
